CCLP Endorses the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted on September 25, 2015 by all 193 member nations of the UN, including the United States. There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). CCLP calls on the U.S. government to implement these goals to eliminate poverty everywhere for the benefit of the people of the U.S. and the world, including Goal 16.
The March 4, 2025 official rejection and denuniation of the SDGs by the U.S. government does not deter CCLP’s resolute endorsement, in solidarity with the rest of the 192 member nations of the UN that adopted this agenda in 2015, as necessary for the advancement of humankind.
